Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy explains how Latro Works ("we", "us") handles information on the website at latroworks.com and in our games, including Peak Demand, wherever you get them: directly from us or through a store such as Steam, the Apple App Store or Google Play.

The short version: the website has no analytics, advertising or cookies, and our games do not collect personal information or send anything to us.

Information collected

We receive personal information only when you give it to us, for example by email. That can include:

• your email address and name, if you include it
• the content of your message and any files you attach, such as screenshots
• details you share about your device, platform or game version when asking for support

Website data

The website is a set of static pages. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, social media plugins or third-party fonts, and it has no accounts or forms.

Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider, whose servers receive technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. The hosting provider may keep this in short-term server logs for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Game data

Peak Demand does not require an account and has no online features. It stores the following on your device only:

• settings, such as volume, language, interface size, reduced motion and which tips you have seen
• your saved game
• campaign progress, such as unlocked maps and best results

This data never leaves your device through the game, and we cannot see it. Deleting the game's data or uninstalling the game removes it. If your platform backs up or syncs app data, that is handled by the platform under its own privacy policy.

Diagnostics and crash reports

Our games do not include crash reporting, diagnostics or telemetry of their own. Some platforms collect crash reports and usage statistics under their own terms and, where you have agreed to it in your platform settings, may share them with developers, usually in aggregated or anonymised form. If we receive such reports, we use them only to find and fix problems.

Cookies and local storage

The website does not set cookies. If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Third-party services

We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle email:

• a hosting provider, to deliver the website
• an email provider, to receive and answer messages

If you get our games from a store, the store handles your purchase, account and payment details under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment information. Please see the privacy policy of the store you use, such as Steam, the Apple App Store or Google Play.

How information is used

We use the information you send us only to:

• answer your questions and support requests
• find and fix problems in our games
• keep the website running and secure
• meet legal obligations

We do not use it for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers above, as far as they need it to provide their service, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If the studio or its games were ever transferred to another owner, information we hold could pass to them under the same protections.

Data retention

We keep emails and support messages for as long as we need them to handle your request, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you follow up. We then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email privacy@latroworks.com. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children's privacy

Our games do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or the minimum age in their country. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Changes to this policy

If our website or games change in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding online features, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and change the date at the top of this page.
